Amels Holland Company was founded in the Dutch town Makkum in 1918, its founders – Amels family during its existence, the company has launched 400 naval-merchant ships and more than 50 mega yachts. The vast experience in the design and construction of ships and yachts allows the shipyard to create true masterpieces for real yachtsmen.

Master Dutch shipbuilders since 1918, Amels began its life as a builder of fishing trawlers. Amels surfaced as a global brand leader in building luxury yachts in 1982 and has been a member of Damen Shipyards Group since 1991. Amels also build Limited Editions, capturing the semi-custom marketplace and ensuring success amongst the yachting elite. At the build stage, the Limited Editions concept allows the security of a proven platform but offers freedom in the customization of the exterior styling and the interior design.

In addition to fully custom yachts, the yacht is known for its Limited Editions including the Amels 180’, Amels 188’, Amels 206’, Amels 212’, Amels 242, and Amels 272’.

Operating from its base in Vlissingen, Holland’s third busiest port, Amels offers both a new building and refit service.

The powerful Amels docks can be enough to build yachts up to 200 m, and the simultaneous construction and repair of several superyachts. The company specializes in the construction of yachts from 40 to 70 m, and the construction process takes about two years.

Some of the most outstanding achievements of Amels – are motor yacht Ilona IV (74 meters), Solemar (61 m), Tigr d `Ore (52 m), Lady in Blue (52 m), Larissa (49 m), and others. One of the last masterpieces – the yacht Lady Anne (69 m). Architect – Walter Franchini.
