BALTIC SEA

The cruising grounds of Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea are dramatically varied – from the maze of towering fjords and imposing glaciers in the north, to the picturesque ports and yachting towns of the UK and the Channel Islands.

The Baltic Sea is a marginal sea of the Atlantic Ocean, enclosed by Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, northeast Germany, Poland, Russia and the North and Central European Plain.  In the southern Baltic, the cosmopolitan cities of Copenhagen and Hamburg, and Amsterdam to the west, offer incredible historical and modern architecture, cutting-edge design stores and fantastic shopping.  Being on the water, these cities have a long-standing yachting heritage and the area now boasts some of the world’s finest superyacht shipyards.
